Born in Frankfurt, Germany on January 28th, 1985 but raised in Fayetteville North Carolina, J Cole is a rapper and producer who has been making music since the early 2000s. At age 14 he graduated high school from St. Mary’s Catholic School. He then attended a nearby historically black college, Coppin State University to study English literature and music business before dropping out to focus on his rap career. His first album was titled “The Come Up” which was released in 2007 when he was 22 years old.
